I have a date with the nutritionist on December 15th. I'm going to log my food and exercise starting on the 1st and take it in with me. Is there anything else I should do? I don't really have any questions. Are there any questions that I should ask?
I'm hoping I can get a succinct diet and exercise plan that I can follow and that works. That's not too much to ask, right?
My first goal- I want to lose at least 20lbs by our trip to San Francisco at the end of February. I really want to be able to look at the pictures and like what I see.
Susan. I think what you're doing is so fantastic. I too have always struggled with my weight (a losing battle of late) but the one thing I always try (sometimes harder than I try to lose weight) is to like what I see no matter what my size. There are times when I don't like my hips or thighs. When I look in the mirror and hate my stomach. But in the end this is me. And if I can't like me (outside as well as in) I'm fighting a losing battle. Good luck my friend.
ReplyDeleteIt does sometimes feel like a losing battle, doesn't it? For me- when I was on the pill, on Weight Watchers and exercised I could lose weight. Then I stopped the pill and gained weight. It didn't really matter what I ate, how much I exercised- I couldn't lose the weight. And since I wasn't having my period I went to my doctor. That's when I was diagnosed with PCOS. Now that I know how to manage it, it's easier, but still so incredibly hard.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your support Morgan. I have no idea if you're interested but I can give you more info on PCOS. And I'll definitely keep the blog posted on the nutritionist.
